Funeral services were held Saturday, December 20, 1986, for Rudolph Griga, 76, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and formerly of the Mitchell area, at Faith Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Mr. Griga died on Thursday, December 18, 1986, at a Cedar Rapids hospital.

He was born on April 11, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois, to martin and Anna (Valek) Griga. he was raised in the Mitchell area and educated in rural schools there. He moved to Cedar Rapids in 1935. Mr. Griga worked as a welder for Cherry-Burrell Co., in Cedar Rapids, and retired in 1975.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one brother, Lewis.

Survivors include two daughters, Francila Griga and Rudena Griga, both of Florida; a grandchild, and two brothers, Frank and Edwin, both of Osage.
