Julia (Lunde) Lugg – April 1886 – April 14, 1955

Rites Held Monday for Mona Resident

MONA--Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Lugg, 68, were held Monday afternoon at the Lutheran church at Mona, with burial in the Osage cemetery. She died Thursday at her home here.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Calvin Beard, Denver, Colo., a son Lloyd, Mason City, four grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Bertha Lunde of Mona and Mrs. Theodore Eby, Carlton, Mich., and two brothers, Henry Lunde of Osage and Ole Lunde of Galchutt, N.D.

Julia Lunde was born April 1886 in Minnesota, the daughter of Halvor Lunde and Martha (Olsen) Lunde. (birth date from 1900 census and parents names from 1925 Iowa census).

She married Charles Lucien Lugg, the son of Arthur Lugg and Mary Jane (Barker) Lugg.
