NEW HAVEN, SUCCUMBS

OSAGE, IOWA - Mrs. Matthew Schoenborn, 70, New Haven, Iowa, died Saturday. She had been keeping house for her son, Clarence. Another son, Ed, also of New Haven, survives her; a daughter, Mrs. Harry Tanner of Eldora, and a stepdaughter, Frances Gau, of St. Paul, Minnesota; two brothers, William and Peter Gilles of New Haven; a sister, Mrs. Matthew Kleckner; a sister, Mrs. John Junk, Ogden, Utah; and brothers, Joe Gilles of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Anton of Wahpeton, North Dakota, are also left.

Her husband died a number of years ago.

Services will be held at St. Peter's church at New Haven.

Catherine Gilles was born April 4, 1864, in Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin, the daughter of Nicholas Gilles and Anna Maria (Weber) Gilles.
