Evelyn E (Kleckner) Brandt – April 11, 1895 – December 11, 1962

MRS. PETER BRANDT RITES THURSDAY AT NEW HAVEN

New Haven – Mrs. Peter Brandt, 68, died Tuesday morning at the Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, New Haven, with burial in the church cemetery. Rosary will be said Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the church.

Born Evelyn Kleckner near New Haven, she was the daughter of Mathias and Mary Ann (Gilles) Kleckner. She was married in 1915 and had lived all her life in this area.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Clarence (Elma) Sweeney, New Haven; Mrs. Wendell (Betty) Guthart, Charles City; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother; Ernest Kleckner, St. Ansgar; five sisters; Mrs. Peter Michels, Osage; Mrs. John Weber, Mason City; Mrs. Laverne Robbins, Chicago; Mrs. Vincent Dunlay and Mrs. Maurice Condon, New Haven.
