WILLIAM BARTZ, 63, FARMER, SUCCUMBS AT WHEEL OF AUTO

St. Ansgar – William Bartz, farmer, 63, died Wednesday afternoon at the steering wheel of his car of a heart attack.

The body was taken to the Schroeder and Haug Funeral Parlors here.

Mr. Bartz leaves his wife, two married children and one son at home.

Funeral services have been tentatively set for Saturday afternoon at the Grafton school.

William August Michael Bartz was born May 31, 1877 in Wisconsin, the son of Albert Bartz and Dorothea (Munz) Bartz.

He married Maria Wilhelmine Christina Marcks, the daughter of Ernst Friedrich Ludwig Marcks, and Louise Wilhelmine Friedrike (Wilde) Marcks.
