MISS EDITH GREGORY

Funeral services were held last Wednesday for Miss Edith Gregory, who died November 20, 1949, at the Wass Nursing Home in Mason City, Iowa. Burial was in the Osage cemetery.

Edith Gregory was born on August 11, 1871, at Mitchell, Iowa, to Herbert and Eldora Brown Gregory.

For almost 50 years, Edith Gregory taught in the Osage public school. After she terminated her work she stayed with her sister, Mrs. Charles Kathan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are one sister, Emma Kathan, of Osage; three nephews and two nieces: Maurice Kathan of Osage, Marshall Kathan of Paris, France, Tom Gregory of Iowa City, Marguerite Kleckner of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Grace Kathan of Grand Prairie, Texas.
