Eva May (Underwood) Baldwin – 1876-1913

Eva May Underwood was born in September 1876 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Adelbert Underwood and Julia Charlotte (Andrews) Underwood. She died December 9, 1913 and was buried in the Orchard Cemetery, Mitchell,County.

Eva married William Odell Baldwin.

They had at least 9 children:

(1) Pearl F Baldwin born May 25, 1896 and died February 23, 1980 in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. She married Alvin Norelius. They are both buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Barron Co, Iowa.

(2) Alta Baldwin born April 27, 1898 in Floyd County…Alta (Baldwin) Betley died October 15, 1987 and is buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Wisconsin

(3) Leon Sterle Baldwin born January 27, 1900 in Floyd County..died March 15, 1940 in Wisconsin. He was buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Barron Wisconsin

(4) Myrtle”Myrtie” Maude Baldwin born August 2, 1901 in Floyd County and died . She married Albert Elihu Olson. He died December 23, 1955 and she died January 16, 1999.

(5) Leonard Odell Baldwin born September 27, 1904..he died January 11, 1997 and is buried in the Osage Cemetery

(6) Milton Raymond Baldwin born September 7, 1906 in Mitchell Co., he died October 31, 1985 and is buried in the Osage Cemetery

(7) Bertha Baldwin born October 15, 1908, died October 16, 1989. She married Lewis Gillett. They are buried in the Weyerhaeuser Cemetery in Rusk County, Wisconsin

(8) Mable Etta Baldwin born December 15, 1910..she died September 22, 2010 and was buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Barron, Wisconsin ..Mable Etta (Baldwin) Prine

(9) Elmer Baldwin born January 16, 1912 in Barron Wisconsin, died October 4, 1999 in Mesa Arizona

After the death of Eva, William Baldwin married Audrey “Dora” Lavell (Knowlton) Smith. William Odell Baldwin was born April 12, 1873 in Iowa and he died March 12, 1946. He is also buried in the Wayside Cemetery, Barron, Wisconsin.
