LuAnn Wyant, 47, of Riceville, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah.

Funeral services will be held on Monday February 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville, Iowa with Father Steve Garner officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Riceville. Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Sunday, February 3 from 3 - 8 p.m.   Rosary will be held at 5 p.m. and Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. There will be visitation at the church one hour before service time.

Obituary:

LuAnn Wyant, age 47, of Riceville, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2013, at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah.

LuAnn was born September 21, 1965 to Marion and Marilyn (Werner) of Lamont, Iowa. She worked on the farm with her family. She and her family moved to Riceville, Iowa. LuAnn graduated from Riceville High School in 1984. She was employed at the Riceville Community Nursing Home for 15 years as a dietary aide and cook.

She enjoyed going shopping, going to jewelry parties, Pampered Chef parties, taking care of little pigs on the farm, and little puppies. She was a member of the St. Anne’s Rosary Society and the Riceville American Legion Auxiliary. She has a special puppy named Trixie who was her pride and joy. LuAnn enjoyed working with flowers and knowing what was what.

She is survived by her mother, Marilyn, her sister, Debbie at home, her brother Larry (Teri) of Cresco, her brother Jeff (Cathy) of Plainfield, her sister Julie (Brad) Carlson of Rochester, Minnesota, and her brother Doug (Shari) of Riceville.

She was preceded in death by her father Marion in 2004, grandparents William and Helen Werner of Independence, grandparents William Wyant and Ethel Lane, and nephew Patrick Douglas Wyant.

Visitation:
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, Iowa.
With a Rosary at 5 p.m. and a Parish Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m.

Service:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville, IA.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Riceville.
