Found in the 1900 census living at Delhi, Delaware, Iowa: Oscar A Frank 34, Isabelle R Frank 31, Arthur A Frank 10, Evangeline V Frank 8, Grace E Frank 6, Nellie R Frank 5, William Mck Frank 3, Earle D Frank 1, Hazel L Frank 3/12.

The family moved to Mitchell County, Iowa. Found in the 1910 census living at Union, Mitchell, Iowa: Oscar Frank 42, Isabel Frank 41, Eva V Frank 18, Grace E Frank 16, Nellie R Frank 14, William M Frank 13, Hazel Lillian Frank 10, Edward L Frank 5, Martha M Frank 2, Rosa Frank 0,[9/12] Ruth Frank 9 months.

Hazel married Laurence John Squier on July 16, 1918 at Mitchell County, Iowa. Their children were all born in Mitchell County, Iowa: Lillian I (born 1919); Lawrence E (born November 24, 1922); Gerald Dean (November 8, 1924-March 27, 1997); Keith Gordon (October 23, 1926 - June 20, 2004); William K (born September 1, 1928) and Phyllis J (born 1932).

Hazel was divorced from Laurence Squier on June 29, 1933 at Osage, Iowa.

She married Edward William Arp on December 12, 1936 at the Methodist parsonage at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. The couple had two children:
Patricia Kay (born December 2, 1937 Osage, Iowa, married Dean Rowson 1963 Osage, Iowa, died November 11, 2001 Manly, Worth, Iowa) and
Marvin Edward (born September 24, 1940 Osage, Iowa, married Jeanne L. Navratil July 15, 1963 Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa, died March 23, 2006 Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa).
