After an illness of five years, Mrs. Arthur G. White, 47, died at Cherokee Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted today at the home at one o'clock and at First Lutheran church at two o'clock, Rev. Olaf A. Langehough officiating.

Jennie Elinea Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson, was born in Sweden November 14, 1886. When she was five years old her parents emigrated to America and lived at Bolan, Iowa. She was a member of the Lutheran church. She was married to Arthur G. White on December 6, 1911.

Three children were born to this union, all of whom survive. They are Wilfred Charles, Donald Laverne and John Evan, all of St. Ansgar. Her husband and three sisters and one brother also survive; Mrs. Matilda Stenstrom of Erie, Pa., John A. Johnson of Laton, Calif., Charles T. Johnson of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Mark Robertson of St. Ansgar.

Mrs. White contracted pulmonary tuberculosis about five years ago and since that time she has been in poor health and her death was not unexpected. The body was brought to St. Ansgar Monday. Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery.

According to the 1925 Census and also the 1900 Census, she was the daughter of John and Severina Casperson -- who are also buried in he First Lutheran Cemetery.

The 1925 Iowa Census says she was the daughter of John Casperson and Siverina Benson

Jennie is buried in First Lutheran Cemetery at St. Ansgar, in lot number 115, along with her parents, John and Severina Casperson.
