Dying within a few hours of each other and on the anniversary of their golden wedding, was the strange coincidence recorded by the deaths of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Michels, pioneer residents of Mitchell county.

Mr. Michels died late in the evening and his wife, early the following morning.
