Olga Karine Fjeld (Field) was born October 28, 1899 ​at Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa t​o Martin Olsen Fjelde ​and Gunhild Olsdatter ​Christiansmoen (Moe), the youngest of their four children. Olga was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar township, Mitchell County, Iowa on December 10, 1899. Her baptismal sponsors were: Julian Shoger & wife, Martin Moe, Marie Moe.

Obituary from Osage Press News:

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, rural Osage, for Olga K. Field who died Friday September 19, 1986 at her home in Osage. The Rev. Roger Hoppenworth, church pastor, was in charge of the service and burial was made in the Rock Creek cemetery.

Olga Field was born in West Cedar Township, Mitchell County, Iowa, on October 28, 1899 to Martin and Gunhild Moe Field. She was educated in the rural school of Cedar Township and attended the Cedar Valley Seminary in Osage. She lived on the family farm in West Cedar keeping house for her father and brother Oscar after the death of her mother in 1943. After Oscar's death, she and her father moved to Osage and she cared for her aged father until his death at the age of 101 in 1959.

Miss Field was a life long member of Rock Creek Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gea Norby, of Osage; one niece, Mrs. Adelaide Wamstad of Nora Springs, and five nephews: Eugene Wamstad and Harold Norby of Nora Springs, Robert Norby and Raymond Norby of Rudd, and John Norby of Osage.

Her parents, a sister Mina Wamstad, and a brother, Oscar Field, preceded her in death.
