MRS. RICHARD HOGAN

Mrs. Richard (Mary) Hogan, 27, of 1142 Forest, Carroll, died at 5 a.m. Monday, February 4, 1974, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital of an apparent heart ailment.

Her husband is a counselor at Carroll Community Schools. The body will be taken from the Sharp Funeral Home to the Mahaney Funeral Home at Fonda, where arrangements are pending.

Mrs. Hogan was born May 9, 1946, at Osage, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ammons.

Her marriage to Mr. Hogan took place June 3, 1967, at Stacyville and they came to Carroll in July, 1973.

Surviving with her husband are two sons, Troy and Jay, at home; her parents, of Osage; two sisters, Mrs. Terry (Trudy) Hoil of Clear Lake and Mrs. Larry (Sally) Potter of Osage; two brothers, Howard Ammons of Osage and Harold Ammons of Apache Junction, Arizona. She was a daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Hogan of Fonda.

Mrs. Hogan was a member of St. Lawrence Church.

MRS. RICHARD HOGAN

Requiem mass for Mrs. Richard Hogan, 27, of Carroll will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Fonda. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery at Varina.

Friends may call at the Mahaney Funeral Home in Fonda after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will.be recited at 3 p.m. and by the parish at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Hogan, wife of a Carroll Community Schools counselor, died at St. Anthony Regional Hospital early Monday, Feb. 4.

#3: MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENT--

ORCHARD, IOWA — Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ammons announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, to Richard Edward Hogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hogan of Varina.

The couple has set June 3 as the date for the wedding. It will take place in the Visitation Catholic Church in Stacyville.

Miss Ammons is employed by Safeway Stores Inc., Mason City, and her fiance is a teacher and coach at Marion High School.
