Ronnong (Rhoda) Iversdatter Fekjer was born July 28, 1844 at Fekjer, Norway. She emigrated to America and settled at Mitchell County, Iowa where she used first name of Rhoda.

She married Peder Gundersen (Gunderson) on June 10, 1870 at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa; they had no children.

Found in the 1870 to 1885 censuses living at Newburg, Mitchell, Iowa:
1870: Peter Gunderson 48, Rumug Gunderson 26, Gender Gunderson 75, Leva Gunderson 70, Eskill Larson 60, Eliz Gunderson 27.
1880: Roda Gunderson 36, widowed, renting a room, says insane.
1885: Rhoda Gunderson age 40. Living next to Erick Gunderson family (Peder's relatives).

Found in the 1895, 1900 censuses at Independence, Buchanan, Iowa, a patient at the Mental Health Facility (then called the Iowa Hospital for the Insane):
1895: Lutheran, farmers wife: Rhoda Gunderson age 50.
1900: Rhoda Gunderson age 55, widowed.

Found in the 1915 census at Newburg, Mitchell, IA: Rhoda Gunderson 71.

Rhoda died June 7, 1916 at Iowa, either at Mitchell or Buchanan County. She is buried at the First Lutheran (Evergreen) Cemetery at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.
