M. B. PROCTOR, RICEVILLE, DIES IN ST. PAUL
Riceville – M. B. Proctor, 87, Riceville, died Tuesday in a St. Paul hospital. He had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Otto, in St. Paul.
Funeral arrangements are tentatively set for Friday in St. Paul with burial there.Born on a farm north of Riceville, he had lived here many years. He was married to Grace Mosher who died several years ago.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Otto, St. Paul; Dr. Marian Proctor, Redondo Beach, California; two sons; Byron and Harry, both of Minneapolis; and a niece; Mrs. F. J. Anonson, Riceville.

Merton Byron Proctor was born December 2, 1878 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Joel Gardner Proctor and Ida (Humphrey) Proctor.
He married Grace Rosalia Mosher, the daughter of Philip Mosher and Marion (Durfee) Mosher.
