Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Liv Roe Tuff at the First Lutheran church, St. Ansgar January 4 at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. O.A. Langehough in charge of the services. Interment was in the First Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Liv Roe Tuff was born November 2, 1861 in Norway and at an early age came to America with her parents settling near St. Ansgar. She was confirmed by the Rev. Johan Olsen in 1875. She was united in marriage with Ole Tuff in 1897 and moved to Ulen, Minn., where Mr. Tuff passed away in 1899. She continued to live in Ulen following her husband's death working as a dressmaker. In 1924 she came to St. Ansgar and made her home with the Andrew Havigs and until 1948 made her home with her sister, Mrs. Magnesen. Mrs. Tuff has been in failing health for many years and passed away at the Wyborney Nursing home in Lyle, January 1, 1949 at the age of 87 years.

She leaves to mourn, one sister, Mrs. Edwin Evans of Ulen, Minn., and several nieces and nephews.
