Mrs. Erma Weldin

MITCHELL, IOWA — Services for Mrs. Erma Weldin, 47, who died at her home Saturday morning of asphyxiation, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Faith Lutheran Church at Mitchell.

Mitchell County Medical Examiner Dr. L. A. Doyle of Osage said Mrs. Weldin was found dead in her home with a gas stove oven on, but not lit. The house was full of gas fumes when a family member came home and found her. The sheriffs department is investigating her death. Her burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four daughters: Tina Cullen of Mitchell; Dorothy Pickar of Charles City; and Joanne and Rose, both of Riceville; two sons, William of Riceville and Gene of Mitchell; her mother, Mrs. Gina Miller of Mitchell; six brothers: Lawrence Miller and Hans Miller, both of Stacyville, Chris Miller of Osage, Gene Olsen and Linton Olsen, both of Ackley, and Kenneth Goplerud of Carpenter; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Pajer of Osage, Mrs. Emil (Hilga) Nemeth of St. Ansgar, and Mrs. Alfrieda LaDouceur of Bass Lake, Minnesota.
