Funeral Services Held
For Mrs. Eva Day, 88

Funeral services were held Monday, August 24 at 10 a.m. in the Wayne Baptist Church of McIntire for Mrs. Eva Matilda Day, 88, who passed away on August 21, 1970 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage. The Reverend John Gilbert officiated.

Mrs. Day was born December 1, 1881 at Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of David and Nancy Teter.

She is survived by her husband, Earl, McIntire, two sons, Guy Paulson, Durand, Michigan and Hazel Paulson, Shoshone, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Hiram Kizer, Pipestone, Minnesota; Mrs. Louis Poppen, Little Falls, Minnesota and Mrs. D. J. Scott, Sheridan, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Alden Cemetery in Alden, Iowa with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Services were held for Mrs. Earl Day Monday morning at the Wayne Baptist Church, Rev. John Gilbert was the pastor and the body was taken to Alden for burial. Mrs. Day passed away at the Osage Hospital. She had been an invalid for several years.
