Christ Oscar Eidahl was born April 4, 1880 at St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa to Nettie and Ole Christiansen Eidahl.

He married Klara Dynna on March 14, 1906 at Mitchell, Iowa; the couple had 2 daughters: Alice O (born 1908) and Alpha A. (born 1910).

Ole died December 19, 1927 at Marion, Bowman, North Dakota and was returned to Iowa to be buried at the Norwegian (First) Lutheran Cemetery, St Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.

St. Ansgar Enterprise Obituary: Oscar Eidahl, Former St. Ansgar Man Died at Marion, North Dakota.

The body of Oscar Eidahl, son of Mrs. Ole Eidahl, was brought last Saturday from Marion, N. D., to St. Ansgar, for burial on the family lot. Mr. Eidahl was known to a large circle of people in this vicinity, who will regret his untimely passing. He was married to a former Rock Creek girl, Clara Dynna.

The deceased was born in St. Ansgar April 4, 1880. His marriage to Miss Dynna was in March, 1905 (should be 1906) and a couple of weeks following they moved to Marion, N.D., where they resided on a farm five and a half miles distant, until his death. Mr. Eidahl suffered from cancer, and had been at Rochester for an operation, or treatment, previous to his death, which occurred on December 19, 1927.

Left to mourn him besides his wife and two daughters, are his mother, three sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at the home of Andrew Groth, and in the Norwegian Lutheran church, of St. Ansgar, the Rev. Langehough having charge. Burial was made in the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery.
