EUGENE THORSON DIES IN HIGHPOINT, N.C.

Eugene (Gene) Thorson, 73, died December 14, 2004 at his home in Highpoint, N.C.

Eugene was born September 11, 1931 to Donald and Leone Thorson of St. Ansgar. He attended school in Otranto and then worked in trucking and served many years in the U.S. Navy.

Eugene is survived by a son, Allen E. Thorson of Highpoint, N.C.; two brothers, Harold Thorson of Alburquerque, N.M. and Allen O. Thorson of St. Ansgar; two sisters, Elaine Hansen and Lucille Mackin of St. Ansgar; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at a later date at First Lutheran Cemetery.
