Karine Docken was born August 1864 at Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa to Thidemand Thidemandsen Docken and Gunhild Aslesdatter, the third of their eleven chldren. Karine's first name found also as Carrie or Karin and surname as Thompson or Thidemandsen. Her family evenutally all used the surname Docken.

Karine was baptized and confirmed (on April 20, 1879) at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church at Meroa, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. Karine married Guud Olsen Brager (Braka) on December 16, 1883 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. It was his 2nd marriage.

They had a daughter, Cora Elina Brager (born February 1, 1890 Osage, Iowa, married William H Almgren April 12, 1911 Minneapolis, MN, died January 1981 Minneapolis, MN.) and Karine was stepmother to Guul's two sons, Oswald and Allert Brager.

Karine Brager died January 20, 1932 at Osage, Mitchell, Iowa and is buried at the Osage City Cemetery there. Find a Grave #80688103.
