Mrs. Ingeborg O. Steen passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.E. Tidemanson, on December 13, 1927. She was born on July 28, 1849, at Waldres, Norway. Mrs. Steen was the daughter of Gudmund and Syneva Moe. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church by her pastor, Rev. Wingsnes.

In 1878 she was united in marriage to Ole O. Steen. This union was blessed with six children. In 1889 they came to America. Her husband and three children preceded her in death.

Mrs. Steen has been confined to her bed for five years, suffering from chronic bronchitis and heart trouble. She has been tenderly cared for by her granddaughters, Iona and Ann Tidemanson, but the last year and a half her daughter, Clara, cared for her.

She passed away in the faith of Jesus; glad to be called where there is no pain or sorrow.

She attained the age of 78 years, 4 months and 15 days. She is survived by her three children, Gilbert of Tacoma, Wash., Clara of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. T.E. Tidemanson of St. Ansgar, Iowa, two brothers, who live in Norway, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T.E. Tidemanson. Interment was at Lake Mills, Iowa. Rev. Langehough officiated.
