Our beloved husband, father, granddad, M.E. “Bud” Lonergan, parted mortal life July 21, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center. He has moved on to better fields in God’s Kingdom of Heaven. Surely he was welcomed by our Lord and an entourage of passed family and friends.
We will celebrate his life of love and service to others Wednesday, July 25, at 4 p.m. at Harvest Vineyard Church, 715 E. Fourth St., Waterloo.
Even in death he serves by donating his body to medical science in Iowa City.
A full military graveside service will be held in Osage at a later date to be announced.
Memorials may be directed to Harvest Vineyard Church or Acker-Mathias American Legion Post 653 of Denver.
