RICEVILLE, IOWA - Dorothy Karen Mayer, 56, of Riceville, died Friday, September 7, 2012, at her residence in Riceville after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, at the Highland Lutheran Church in rural Lanesboro, Minnesota, with the Rev. Pat Hinkie officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Monday during the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. and one hour before services at the church.
