Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Springer, 93, a native of St. Ansgar, who died January 4, 1964 at the Chatauqua Guest Home in Charles City, Iowa were held January 6 at a funeral home in Charles City.

Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery in St. Ansgar. Mrs. Springer had been a resident of Charles City since 1912. She is survived by a son, Orin, of Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Fredrickson of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Kenneth Gibson of Iowa City; also 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ida Gould of St. Ansgar.

Mrs. Springer, daughter of the late Knut and Oline Williams, spent her girlhood in St. Ansgar. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Mrs. Gena Palmer, Mrs. Clark Frank, Mrs. Oscar Hofland and Mrs. Hattie Delaney.
