Leonard Frederick Fluhrer – December 27, 1877 – November 20, 1961

GRAFTON RITES WEDNESDAY FOR LEONARD FLUHRER

Grafton – Leonard Fluhrer, 83, died Monday. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Carlton Rohr will officiate. Burial will be in Grafton Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home, Osage, in charge.

Born December 18, 1877, in Wisconsin, he was the son of Leonard and Marguerite Fluhrer.

The family moved to Carpenter while he was a child and later came to the Grafton area. He was married to Mrs. Lydia Urbatsch in 1918. They farmed until 1942 when they retired to Grafton.

Surviving are his wife, two sons; Verl Fluhrer, Manly; Wilbur Urbatsch, Osage; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
