INSURANCE LEADER TO BE BURIED TODAY

Funeral services for Harry D. St. John, 48, past president of the Texas Life Underwriters’ Association, who died Tuesday, will be held Wednesday afternoon with Rev. J. B. Horton of Beeville officiating.

St. John was a native of Osage, Iowa. He had made his home in San Antonio 10 years. He was vice president of the Alamo Life Insurance Company from 1925 to 1931, later branch manager for the Canada Life Insurance Company and special representative of the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice St. John; three sons; Alvin D., Robert T. and Harry Dick St. John, all of San Antonio; a brother; Earl R. St. John; and his parents; Col. An Mrs. R. T. St. John of Riceville Iowa.

Harry Daniel St. John was born August 19, 1886 in Osage, Iowa, the son of Col. Robert Thomas St. John and Adelaide (Sayles) St. John.

He married Ida Alice Struthers, the daughter of Alvin Dick Struthers and Margaret (McMillan) Struthers.
