G. J. SMITH RITES TO BE HELD TUESDAY AT RICEVILLE HOME

Riceville – Last rites will be conducted at 2:30 at the home Tuesday afternoon for Glendon J. Smith of Riceville, who died at his home Saturday night at the age of 69.

Glenden Jewett Smith was born October 1869 in New York, the son of David P Smith and Almira (Jewett) Smith. He married Edith A. Adams, the daughter of John Weber Adams and Margaret (McLain) Adams.

He was survived by his wife and two sons, David Adams Smith and Donald Walter Smith.
