OSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. Odin Skillingstad, 86, formerly of Osage, died Monday evening at a hospital at Windom, Minnesota, where she had lived for some time.

Rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Windom, with burial in a Windom Cemetery, where her first husband, the Rev, O. C. Myhre, is buried.

The Rev. and Mrs. O. C. Myhre lived in Osage between 1920-1941 at which time the pastor was associated with Rock Creek Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Odin Skillingstad, and four sons, Valgaard, Sigmond and Hilding, all of Rockford, Illinois, and Paul, Columbia, Missouri.

Clara Marie Hanson was born December 19, 1877 in Minnesota the daughter of Hans Hanson and Hannah Hilaire (1925 Iowa Census, Osage).

She married Rev. Olaf Carl Myhre, who was born January 18, 1870 in Norway and died September 16, 1948 in Cottonwood Co., Minnesota. (his birth date is from the naturalization record in Mitchell County; date naturalized October 2, 1935).

Her 2nd husband was Odin Severin Skillingstad, who was born September 7, 1875 in Minnesota and died March 12, 1968 in Cottonwood Co. Odin Skillingstads first wife was Martha Mylue (1900 Minnesota marriage record).
