Pearl Amelia (Tienken) Stockman – July 25, 1904 – September 18, 1929
Pearl Amelia (Tienken )Stockman was born July 25, 1904 on a farm five miles east of McIntire, Iowa in Howard county. She was the oldest daughter of Charles and Jessie Tienken, Pearl as she was known lived all of her life with her parents, working some in McIntire.
She was married to Ole Stockman of Cresco in 1929, going with her husband to Cresco, where they began housekeeping.
On Sept. 18, she gave birth to a little daughter, giving her life for her baby who suffers the loss of a kind loving mother.
She also leaves besides her husband and baby, her father and mother, two brothers Robert and Harry and one sister Lila, besides a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much. She was a king loving wife and daughter.
Services were held at the Wren-Easler funeral home Friday afternoon and at the Riceville Congregational church were Rev. Bodenham preached a most comforting sermon to the large gathering of sympathizing friends. The body was laid to rest in Riverside cemetery in Riceville.
