Former Osage Resident
Is Dead in California

OSAGE, IOWA Sept. 27. — Word came Saturday of the death of Mrs. Charles Smith, nee Agnes Slawson, 54, at her home in Fullerton, California, just one week from the day her brother, Henry Slawson, died In Osage.

She was born in Rock Township and lived here until her marriage to Charles Smith when they moved to California. She was prominent in church and club circles in her western home.
