Funeral services for Mrs. Louie (Alene) Sauer, 79, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 1973 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, Iowa.

She was born May 4, 1894 in Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Ada McRorie.

She is survived by her husband, Louie, Riceville, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Lillian) Swancutt, Osage, Iowa; one grandchild, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
