MRS. DORA C. GRONWOLDT

ALTA VISTA - Mrs. Dora C. Gronwoldt, 86, died Sunday at the Riceville Nursing Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Alta Vista with burial at Garwin.

Survivors include three sons, Walter and Vern of Alta Vista, and Marvin, of Riceville; and four daughters: Mrs. Adolph Sir, of Lourdes, Mrs. Ernest Bill, of Alta Vista, Mrs. Paul Ross, of Cresco, and Mrs. Harold Hurst, of Colwell.

Conway Funeral Home of Elma is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

HENRY GRONWOLDTS MARK 54TH
YEAR OF THEIR MARRIAGE

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gronwoldt, Riceville, observed their 54th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Dora Schade and Henry Gronwoldt were married February 2, 1910, in the Evangelical Lutheran parsonage at Gladbrook. They made their home in Tama County, moving later to Lime Springs and Alta Vista farms before moving to their present farm about two miles northeast of Riceville in 1944.

They have four sons, Marvin, Riceville; Leonard, Ionia; Vern and Walter, Alta Vista; and four daughters, Mrs. Paul Ross, Cresco; Mrs. Adolph Sir, Elma; Mrs. Ernest Bill, New Hampton; and Mrs. Harold Hurst, Colwell. They have 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
