FUNERAL SERVICES HELD
MONDAY FOR LUCILLE
MARY ADAMS, 51Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville Monday, November 16 for Mrs. Lucille Mary Adams, 51, who passed away November 13 at the Riceville Community Hospital. The Reverend Father Joseph W. Bohr officiated at the Requiem Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Adams have operated a grocery store in Havelock for the past four years.
Mrs. Adams, who has made her residence in Havelock, Iowa the past five years, and recently became a patient in the Riceville hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome, Havelock; two daughters, Kathleen and Peggy, at home; one son, John, at home; three sisters: Mrs. Carl (Margaret) Brown, Stacyville, Iowa; Mrs. Joe (Irene) Hemrick, Stewartville, Minnesota; and Mrs. Mildred Henderson, Riceville; four brothers: John, Jim and Paul, all of Riceville, Iowa; and Arthur, Spokane, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville with the Chisholm Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Lucille Mary Gaffey was born December 31, 1912, the daughter of John and Mary Gaffey at Elma, Iowa. She lived in Havelock, Iowa during the past five years.
She is survived by her husband, Jerome of Havelock; two daughters, Kathleen and Peggy, both at home; one son, John, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Carol (Margaret) Brown, Stacyville, Iowa; Mrs. Joe (Irene) Hemrick, Stewartville, Minnesota; and Mrs. Mildred Henderson, Riceville, Iowa; four brothers: John, Jim and Paul, all of Riceville, Iowa; and Arthur, Spokane, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Pall bearers included Marvin Krebsbach, Eugene Kresbabch, Raymond Kresbabch, Andrew Picht, Joe Mulick and Bill Adams.

Relatives attending from a distance included Louise Cullihan, Omaha, Nebraska and a number from Waterloo, Pocahontas, Havelock and Minnesota.
