Mrs. Ina Thompson, 96, a former Mitchell resident, died on Tuesday, September 25, 1984 at the Good Samaritan nursing home in St. Ansgar, Iowa. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 1984, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Rev. Rick Magstadt of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Osage officiated, with burial in Oak Grove cemetery, Mitchell, Iowa.

A resident of Mitchell County for the past 70 years, she was born in South Dakota on June 2, 1888 and later moved to Mitchell county.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Albion (Dorothy) Decklever of Creston; six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
