Funeral services were held for Richard Atherton Levers at St. Paul Park, Minnesota, with burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Richard Atherton Levers, the son of the late Harold and Pauline Atherton Levers, died on Saturday, August 11, 1984, in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. He was born on October 3, 1925 in Osage, Iowa. He was married to Lucille Schmidt on Setpember 24, 1950. They moved to Cottage Grove, Minnesota, in 1958.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille, one son, Jerry of St. Paul Park; four daughters, Janelle, Julliane, and Judy of Woodbury, and Jill at home; three grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Skuster of Osage and one brother, Thomas of Sioux City.

Before moving to Cottage Grove, he worked for Jorde Motors in Osage.
