MARVIN LAPPIN, 87, DIES AT RICEVILLE

Riceville – Funeral services are pending at the Martz Funeral Home, Leroy, Minnesota for Marvin E. Lappin, 87, a retired farmer, who died Thursday at the Riceville City Hospital.

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Merwin (Ruth) Noble; Mrs. Lois Malcomson, Burbank, California; Gwen, California; four sons; Robert, LeRoy, Minnesota; Dale, Cedar, Iowa; Leon, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Ted, California.

Marvin Edward Lappin was born December 7, 1874, the son of Robert Lappin and Anna (Woolridge) Lappin. He married Helen Lillian Jones, the daughter of John and Sarah Jones.

Marvin and his wife are buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Mitchell Co., Iowa
