Funeral services for Mrs. Clifford (Genevieve) Smalley, 67, of Osage were held on Saturday, June 2, 1984, at the First Baptist Church in Osage. Rev. George Hope and Rev. J. Gilbert officiated at the service, with burial in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She died on Thursday, May 31, 1984, at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital.

Genevieve Fish was born January 28, 1917 near Osage, Iowa, the daughter of Blanche and Jay Fish. She attended Osage schools.

On December 28, 1941 she was united in marriage to Clifford Smalley. She was a member of the Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and was a charter member of Post 7920 VFW Auxiliary. She was employed by Farm Bureau Insurance in Osage for 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford of Osage; two sons, Jerry of Columbia Falls, Montana, and Don of Marquette; one grandchild, and one brother, Robert Fish of Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
