MRS. FIELDS OF CRESCO IS DEAD
LEAVES HUSBAND, 6 CHILDREN; FUNERAL RITES SUNDAY ARE ANNOUNCEDCresco, Dec. 30 – Mrs. C. E. Fields, 73, died at her home in Cresco Thursday evening after a lingering illness.
She was born at McIntire, Iowa on November 16, 1860. She was married about 54 years ago to Charles E. Fields of Saratoga, who with six grown children survive; Lester R., and Sumner J., of Cresco; and Morton Fields of Washington State; Mrs. Roy Salisbury of Cresco; Mrs. L. A. Kellow and Mrs. L. C. Denoyelles, both of Cresco.
Mrs. Fields was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at the home, the Rev. Alexander Robertson, officiating, with burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette, December 30, 1933

Harriet Alice Crittenden was born November 16, 1860 in McIntire, Mitchell Co., Iowa, the daughter of James A Crittenden and Lucy (Jennison) Crittenden. Her parents are buried in the Wayne Cemetery, McIntire, Mitchell, Iowa.
She married Charles E Fields, the son of Charles Sr. and Mary Fields.
