HUGHES

At his home in Rock township, last Wednesday morning the 21st instant, occurred the death of Mr. Charles Hughes from heart disease.

Charles Hughes was born near Ottawa, Canada, September 10, 1838, and came to Rock township in 1866, having lived here since.

The funeral services were held at the Baptist church, West Mitchell, on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. Grant. The remains were interred in the Oak Grove cemetery, Mitchell. The bereaved friends have the sympathy of the whole community.
