BARKER
Earl C. Barker, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Barker, was born in Hamlin county, South Dakota, April 14, 1886, and died at his home in Burr Oak township, this county, February 18, 1903, aged seventeen years.
Earl's sickness was of short duration and everything that human aid could contribute to ward off his seemingly untimely death was done, but death was the victor, and took from our midst a young man of exemplary habits and Christian disposition and a member of the Burr Oak Free Baptist church.
The family and relatives have the sympathy of the community in this period of sore bereavement.
