RUDOLPH H. TRIBBENSEE

ST. ANSGAR - Rudolph H. Tribbensee, 88, of St. Ansgar, died Saturday (April 10, 1999) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home of St. Ansgar is in charge of arrangements.

Rudolph was born on April 20, 1910, in Worth County, Iowa, the son of Theodore and Ann (Viergutz Walk) Tribbensee. He was baptized in the Emmanual Lutheran Church, Grafton, and confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar. He graduated from St. Ansgar High School. Rudolph married Adelyn Mae Jaspers in Austin, Minn., on April 11, 1943. They farmed and lived in the St. Ansgar area, moving to St. Ansgar in 1981, when they retired from farming. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar.

Rudolph was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Adelyn; two step-sisters, Alma Weber and Esther Kruger; two step-brothers, Alfred Walk and Emil Walk; one infant brother; and two brothers, Arthur Tribbensee and Edwin Tribbensee.

Rudolph is survived by his nieces and nephews.

MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENT:

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Miss Adelyn Jaspers of St. Ansgar and Rudolph Tribbensee, son of Theodore Tribbensee, were married Sunday in the St. John's Lutheran Church parsonage in Austin, Minnesota, with Rev. W. F. Milbrath officiating at the ceremony. They were attended by Dora Krueger of Manly, Iowa., and Lee Jaspers of Ames, Iowa.

A reception was given in honor of the couple following the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Weber of St. Ansgar.

Mrs. Tribbensee will finish her year of teaching at Barton No. 4 school in Worth County, after which the couple will reside on a farm north of here.
