ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Erlis A. Libersky, 91, of St. Ansgar, died November 20, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, with Rev. Paul Weeg officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Erlis A. Libersky, 91, of St. Ansgar died November 20, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at First Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar with Rev. Paul Weeg officiating. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar.

Erlis was born May 17, 1920 to Charles and Martha (Anderson) Everson. She grew up on her parents farm near Mona, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Harold Libersky on June 22, 1940. They were blessed with three children. Harold passed away in 2000.

Erlis was devoted to her family and her faith. She also had a great love for her cats, gardening and flowers, sewing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, daughter Donna Libersky Thebiay, and brothers Lloyd and Kenneth Everson.

Erlis is survived by her son Steve of St. Ansgar, Daughter Diane (Tom) Borden of Oakdale, Minnesota, and sister Iona Grove of Austin, Minnesota. She is also survived by grandchildren Rod (JoAnn) Borden, Sue Thebiay Engelen, Cheryl (Bart) Schulze, Scott (Julia) Thebiay and 10 great-grandchildren.
