[NOTE: I can find BRITHE born 21st February 1835 in Voss, Hordaland county, Norway.
Parents: Peder Larsen and Anna Vichingsdatter.
The parents were not married - can of course have married later.

Brithe (Brita) Pedersdatter (23) married Knut Pedersen (27) 5th November 1857 in Voss.
His father: Peder Larsen
Her father: Peder Knudsen

Brita Peterson Quale was born February 21, 1836 at Vos, Norway. She was baptized there and spent her early years, till after confirmation at Vos.

In 1859, she married Knut Peterson Repaal. They emigrated to the United States the following year. Nine children blessed their marriage. Of these, the following seven have gone before: Peter, Wilheim, Lewis, Britha, Caroline, Thea, Josephine, Brynhild.

Peter Peterson and Mrs. Colbj. Golberg of Carpenter, Iowa survive her.

Mrs. Peterson was taken sick with pneumonia and died after a few days illness, on Monday morning January 16th. The funeral was held at the N.L. church, Rev. Waldeland officiating on January 18th, and the remains laid to rest at the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery.
