Osage – Services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Martin, 94, who died Saturday at a nursing home in Charles City.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Riceville.

She is survived by a daughter; Mrs. H. D. Hamm, Charles City; a son, Lee, Osage; and a sister; Anna, Beloit, Wisconsin.

Mary Burns was born March 1870 in Indiana (according to 1900 Census. She married Hiram Martin. (her maiden name from 1925 Iowa Census for her son Kenneth.

**daughter: Mrs. H. D. Hamm was Lucille (Martin) Hamm. She married Herbert Hamm. Buried Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

**son: Lee Mervin Martin 1898-1976 buried Osage Cemetery

**son: Kenneth Martin: 1915-1945 killed in action in Germany
