Funeral services were held on April 11, 1986 at the Hampton United Methodist Church for Mrs. Nellie Fredericks, 88, of Hampton, and a resident of Faith Home in Osage. The Rev. C. W. Ellerbeck officiated, and burial was in the Hampton Cemetery. Mrs. Fredericks died on Tuesday, April 8, 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Rantoul, Illinois, and Gerald of Osage; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Maude Hobson of Hampton.

NOTES:

Nellie Edith Sherer was born September 30, 1897 in Franklin Co., Iowa, the daughter of John and Hattie (Kibbie) Sherer. She married Albert John Fredericks, the son of Henry and Marie (Albert) Fredericks. Their son Gerald Lynn Fredericks (1927-2010) is buried in the Osage, Mitchell, Cemetery.
