Funeral services for Earl Thompson, 78, of Nashua, Iowa, were held on Saturday, March 8, 1986 at United Methodist Church in Nashua. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Nashua.

Mr. Thompson died on Thursday, March 7, 1986, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City, Iowa.

He was born on November 4, 1907 in Riceville, Iowa. In May of 1935, he and Arvilla Hanson of Osage, Iowa, were married.

Mr. Thompson is survived by one daughter, Kay French of Osage; two grandchildren; one brother, Chris of Ottumwa; and a sister, Blanche Thompson of Illinois.
