Mrs. Eldon Amy Dead

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 29, 1986, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage for Nora Amy, 88, of Osage. She died on Saturday, April 26, 1986 at an Osage nursing home.

She was born on November 25, 1897 at Waverly, Iowa, to Jacob H. and Orpha (Lockwood) Hillborn. She attended Waverly area schools. On November 15, 1917 she married Eldon Amy at Charles City. The couple lived in Rockford, Iowa, for 15 years before moving to Osage in 1932.

Survivors include two daughers, Florence Tireman of Osage and Mrs. Ervin (Ruth) Decker of Nashua; two sons, Eldon Amy, Jr. of Osage and William Amy of Mojave, California; and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
