MRS. CLARENCE CONGER
DIED AT RICEVILLE
HOSPITAL TUESDAYAs a great shock to friends comes the news of the death of Mrs. Clarence Conger, formerly Miss Ruth Kruger, of Little Cedar. Mrs. Conger was operated on a week ago for gall stones and appendicitis and Sunday morning her condition became alarming, and it was ascertained that only an operation could possibly save her life. She did not have the strength, however, to rally from this second ordeal, and passed away Tuesday night. She had been in poor health for a year.
Mrs. Conger was married a couple of years ago to a prominent young farmer, living near Riceville, who with their few months old daughter survive her. She had frequently visited here with her aunt, Mrs. Emma Foster.
