Eliza Jane (Griffin) Arms July 1855 – November 3, 1934

Eliza Jane Griffin was born July 1855 in Minnesota, the daughter of Hiram and Abbie (James) Griffin .

She married Rev. George Washington Arms, the son of William and Abagail (Woodworth) Arms, after his first wife Nancy Hurlbut died in 1881.

Her husband was born November 29, 1824 in Vermont and died October 10, 1898 in Richford, Franklin Co., Vermont. He was buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Richford with his first wife Nancy. George was a minister of the Richford, VT Baptist church. He also had a farm adjoining his brother Johns on the North Pinnacle Road.

In 1900 Eliza Jane was still in Vermont, listed as a widow, and according to the 1900 Census was born July 1855 in Minnesota.

Eliza Jane (Griffin) Arms died November 3, 1934 in Hennepin Co., Minnesota and was buried in the Griffin lot in Wayne Cemetery, Mitchell Co., Iowa
